1. The 2nd roles can be left unselected. So you can choose 2 but don’t have to. It’s not “too confusing for new players”.

2. It actually speeds up queue rather than slowing it down. It’s literally win/win.

3. Since the queue is faster, priority roles could potentially be removed. (in case you think it’s already fast enough)

Why does it make the queue faster? Because currently if either your champ OR role is picked it will have to look for a fit for your secondary pick which is also only 1 combination. If you decide to pick 2 roles for both champs then there are 4 possible combinations rather than 2. (Technically you could add 5 roles each for the fastest queue possible).

Ok there’s no reason not to add it but how necessary is it? It would make the mode way way better. Currently if your primary role is taken it means you can’t play your primary champion either…while simultanously it slows down the queue forcing priority roles to exist.
