Agreed. The problem with the Little Mermaid remake wasn’t that Ariel was black. It is that it was a bad movie. They remade a movie that didnt need to be remade in order to cash in on people’s nostalgia.
It isn’t as if they remade the movie as-is but made Ariel white that it would have been a blockbuster

Notice that most of these examples of race-swapping a black character to white are based on real people, not fictional characters. Which is something they always complain about whenever a black actor plays a white character. This is comparing apples to oranges.
I get the joke. But where are these posters from? I assume they are AI recreations of real movie posters. The Mohammed Ali and Nelson Mandela movies are the only ones I reconize
