It’s possible to be happy about the season thus far but concerned about where we are headed.
Will be difficult to beat anyone the way we have played the last 3 weeks.
Expectations change.
I watch football for my enjoyment in the moment. If we win, I’m happy. If we lose, I am less happy. If we get humiliated, I am very much not happy. And the season record doesn’t really matter much in the moment. Yea it’s cool we’re 8-3, but I’m not sitting on my couch looking at the record for 3 hours. I’m watching an abysmal game.
Stop trying to gatekeep how people experience this hobby and let people feel their feelings.
It’s no so much the loss everyone is upset with. It’s the piss poor playing that’s been happening the past few weeks is why everyone is upset. If it was a hard fought game and we lost, everyone would have something different to say.
It’s the way they’ve lost. It’s one thing to lose, it’s another look inept on D and turning the ball over all over the place.
There is such a thing as toxic positivity… this sub displays it every week, no matter what the Lions do wrong. Being immune to criticism is a bad thing. Weird that people are so hostile towards others wanting things to improve when they clearly need to.
I’m happy I just don’t want to be compared to the 2022 Vikings :(
Not like this is different than any other large group of fans, but still a bummer.
What makes me sad is that being negative (or “realistic”) online is entertaining for so many. This game is solely a practice in taking our anger for a lot of people. Fair enough, but sad.
Can we stop. It’s so annoying that everyone complains about valid criticism of this team.
