BMW is sportier and up until some of the recent trash they’re putting out now, has had the design edge. I dunno where they’re going though with crap like the XM.

I like Audis but not the SUVs. To be fair I think all SUVs are ugly except for the Range Rover.

I had an A4 at my first car, Audi interior in the older models suck vs the BMW’s but these days they’ve stepped it up. I’d lease an R8.

Have owned a few. Fun cars, but quality just wasn’t the same, especially as they aged. My 10 year old Audi felt so much more dated and cheap than my current 10 year old BMW. Basically slightly nicer Volkswagens. With that said, there are a couple models I’d own, but for a daily driver, BMW all the way

I would honestly say for better or for worse(for worse) Audi doesn’t want you to have the car for 10 years as bad as that sounds. They want to be revolutionary every 5 years and basically force you to replace it lol

Unfortunately they’re the only German brand who are still making good looking cars. Seems like everyone else peaked in the late 2010s.

Audi’s design language hasn’t shifted since then. I think you just prefer designs of the 2010s.

If I’m going to pay a premium for a German luxury car that’s expensive to fix might as well have a Mercedes or BMW badge

My sister just traded her X3 xdrive30e for Q5 45 P+. Honest opinion is the Q5 feels like it is better built than the X3. Driving dynamics is better on the X3. Some features are better and included on the Q5 with P+ like the sound and ACC. But some stuff lacking like ambient lights and navigation/digital cockpit without going Prestige.

I don’t hate them like Mercedes. But it’s somehow just a VW.

The only thing that made me buy the X7 over the Q7 is the fact that 75K Audis come with VW seats and finishes. Quilting should be brought down to the regular levels because a brand new Q7 has shitty seats.

Audi is engineered in a way I wouldn’t want to own one long term. Also they are way down on power compared to the comparable bmw. Ie s4 vs m340i the m340i WIPES THE FLOOR with the Audi. Happens with most of their models. Maintenance cost for high end ones (S/RS) seems more expensive than the comparable M, for example brake job on some RS models is 5k++. M is half that. Mercedes makes a more reliable V8 than both of them.
