I am new to the watch world, but have been looking for a solid purchase with strong history of travel exploration.
I’m considering the newer bulova lunar pilot but I’m on the fence. The elgin a-11 or hamilton khaki is also a consideration, but it’s not exactly in the niche I’m itching for. The Smiths De Luxe would be my top choice if I could buy whatever I wanted since Sir Edmund Hillary used to wear it, but for a first purchase I don’t know enough to not get scammed online.
I’m hunting for watches that were used for some feats that pushed the world forward in science and exploration more specifically. Any suggestions?
Seiko Alpinist were made for Japanese mountainneers
As many people said the Seiko, Im gonna say the Charlie Paris Concordia that can be found New at 795 euros. It has been used very recently by an adventurer that ive forgot the name. 300m water resistance, Nice design, but maybe lacks a bit of history as a young microbrand and also for the price you should go with the Alpinist
