I pray Kyle and Tyler stay healthy because I genuinely believe Highsmith and Jaime + Duncan elevating can replace whatever depth they lost since the 21-22 season
The shooting seems to be back. People were acting like the 2023 playoffs were the outlier when it was actually the 2022-23 season cause we were #1 in the 3pt shooting in the 2021-22 season as well. I think we’re 4th rn but I expect that to go up considering the horrid start we had, especially J rich finding his shot again
Man, I swear I’ve been saying the same thing. I’m glad I’m not the only one noticing the real outlier was us not shooting well and the media never even mentions how we dealt with injuries throughout the 2023 regular season. Off topic but if we’re healthy is this roster enough or is a small trade needed?
I think we can make it back to the finals but we def need more depth at the pg role if we want a chance at beating the nuggets. Either Caruso for his defense or someone like a tyus jones to dish the rock would do well imo. Considering we don’t want to give up many assets those two should be who we go after. I saw some wizards fans in r/nba saying that jones is unhappy in Washington currently so he might be happy to be traded
Yeah, definitely our weakest position. A line up defensively with Caruso, jjj, highsmith, butler, bam would be 🗜. Just don’t even know who we give up. Is Caleb and Jovic too much? Also Tyus Jones or even Bones from the Clippers would be subtle but nice additions.
I think we could get away with Jovic and 1-2 picks for tyus jones. As much as the defense would be good with Caruso, we would have even less ball distribution and spacing so I think tyus jones would be the ideal pg for us
Good points, and caruso is a little injury prone too.
Another Herro starting vs coming off the bench controversy coming soon…
