A lot of people are saying this is the same mindless importing and nepotism that other teams do, but I just want everyone to have context before making judgements.

Every single player on SR has previously played with Reven. Reven has played with bvoy, and so it’s safe to assume he picked him. Reven was also responsible for Ruby to TSM. Unlike most coaches, Reven has not shy away from taking full responsibility and explaining the logic and vision behind his decisions. Until things are official, I’m sure he won’t say anything, but I’m sure that he has a reason and vision behind picking up bvoy. If you recall, last split TSM overperformed, played very creative drafts, and had clear visions for how they wanted to play.

I don’t think it’s wrong to criticize the pickup of an import like bvoy, but I don’t think it’s fair to lump him with pickups like blue and mask. Only time will tell though
