Just over a year ago there were people saying that we should fire our head coach and now if we don’t get the 1 seed and win it all then we failed. This is a rebuild. Year 1 was clearing cap and figuring out what we had, year 2 was bringing in talent and letting the young guys get experience, year 3 is letting the young guys grow while evaluating the talent we have and hopefully competing for the division.
Did today suck? Yup. Did last Sunday suck too? Until the end, yup. Are we competing for the division. Yup. Still 8-3 through it all. The Lions are a good team, but they have holes on the defense.
At least this season after a shit loss we’re still in pretty good shape record wise. After being a fan of this team for 20+ years, this season isn’t bad and that is why I’m not losing my mind after a loss. I do have criticisms, but I’m not saying we should bench Goff, fire our DC, or any of the other stupid takes I’ve seen.
Enjoy the ride, the lows make the highs even better.
Because if we played how we have some games it would be entirely possible.
Lows don’t make it better
Bro, let people grieve the way they want…not sure why people want to control the emotions or expectations of others.
Hope
Goal of this year was to win the division.
Team was 1-6 last year. It’s not Super Bowl or bust. It’s about stacking winning seasons. This defense is shit just like last year.
By competing for the division, I meant compete to win the division. Heading in to December, it looks like we are leading the division, so I’d say we’re on our way to winning it.
If we don’t you’ll be pissed, or what excuse you got in the hopper?
I’ll be disappointed, but it’s a game. I didn’t bet my mortgage on it or anything.
Eli won with the giants going 9-7

The giants won going 9-7 with Eli 🤷🏿♂️
If the season ends in getting steamrolled by whoever in the playoffs why even make it?
