Meh. I would always draft Duncan before Kobe. It would just be easier to build a winning team around him. Duncan made Popovich into an all-time coach, whereas Kobe needed an all-time coach like Jackson to succeed in spite of his toxic personality.
Kobe was a better player if we are just going at individual and talent wise.
Duncan has an argument for better career.
Duncan by a wide margin. Kobe was amazing, a top 10 all time player, but Duncan’s defense is all time level, if Kobe has a bad shooting night, your chances to win go down dramatically.
