Hey everyone,

I recently ordered a Steam Deck OLED LE as I think it is a great device with mostly everything I want in a handheld, but I am in a bit of a dilemma. I’m a huge fan of anime games and titles with action, fighting, and RPG elements. My go-to games are Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, and Attack on Titan 2. I’m also into Hogwarts Legacy and Spider-Man Remastered.

I checked ProtonDB for compatibility, and it seems that other than Hogwarts Legacy and Spider-Man Remastered, the other games are playable with a bit of tinkering. Now, here’s where I could use some advice from the awesome Steam Deck community: If I have to tinker with these games, would the Steam Deck OLED still be the right choice for me, or would it be better to just get a Windows device since a lot of issues with these games are mainly related to cutscenes.

I’m not too worried about Hogwarts Legacy or Spider-Man Remastered, but these anime titles are my jam. Any insights, tips, or experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Keep in mind the Xenoverse 2 STILL does not work online because of the anticheat. This also goes for FighterZ. You can use GE proton for these games and they work offline. The others should work fine I think.
