Boss went away and gave me the company car to visit a site today. There was no fuel in the car when I got it so I had to fill it up. Put in Premium Unleaded (95) and drove it for about 100kms. During this time the engine light came on. I was looking everywhere and couldn’t find info about whether the car was petrol or Diesel, in the fuel door it just said 95, 98, & had a symbol with a crossed out pb (lead?). The vehicle is a Renault Kangoo x76. They came with diesel or Petrol engine. Would I have noticed issues while driving it over the 100kms or is it something slow that would destroy the engine over time?

I should also mention that it had a heater symbol visible before starting which makes me question whether it is Diesel.

SOLVED: I took it to the fuel station and tried to put a diesel nozzle in the car, but it wouldn’t fit. I read online that you can’t fit a diesel nozzle into a petrol vehicle, so CRISIS AVERTED.
