Looking at them play against the Seahawks, just made me realize how mediocre our defense is and how garbage the Sea bitches are. They always seem to be in the right spots to make a play and look unpredictable. I can’t wait till we get a DC who can do that. Meanwhile we got AG dialing up bullshit instead of pressing the “Ask Madden” button. We are not prepared for them or the Eagles. All I need is a couple playoff wins if nothing else. Off season shit needs to change on the staff and talent wise.

Our DL has regressed significantly in the last year our 2/3 FA DBs have been out and still AG is calling manageable games.
Why do fans of this team expect us to suddenly be ready to win the Super Bowl 2 years removed from Patricia burning the whole organization down? But we’ve improved significantly as a whole each year and I’m loving the ride but damn you clinically depressed fans that just will never be happy bring it down a lot. I’m all for letting players develop. I love what BH has gotten in the draft for us. That doesn’t change that if a player CURRENTLY can’t do something it hurts our chances at winning. Right now JJ is in his 3rd year and he can not play man coverage at all, I really like him as a depth piece but currently he’s not playing at a level that he can line up with a WR. I think Jack Campbell has the right abilities but the game seems too fast for him and hes gonna keep looking bad on the field until he’s able to develop more but I’m excited to see him develop.
Me saying AG had to scrap the playbook isn’t me saying cut players or anything stupid like I see a lot here. I’m saying the team has drawn up for those plays isn’t playing anymore they got hurt, so now he’s running a very simplified defense that has very easy to understand assignments. I love the team. And I love run defense so while it’s hard to watch sometimes against the pass I love watching them late in the game just fucking crushing the line.
What’s embarrassing to me is people wanting a coach that’s doing a decent job with a lineup full of rookies and 2-3s to be fired when no one can name a single person that would be a better fit.

Saying that some positions we need to improve on isn’t talking shit about players it’s just being realistic. The scheme that DC want on defense requires good man coverage at times. So yeah JJ the undrafted player that’s done a lot well is probably not the future for us at starting CB otherwise they wouldn’t have brought in Moseley… Not everyone is a superstar.

Alim came back in right away. Jack Campbell has been quietly one of the worst picks of Holmes tenure. I’m not totally giving up on him since his position is hard for a rookie but he’s been consistently bad for a while now. I don’t think he’s had a good game in months. I thought he was going to be more ready for this than what he’s shown so far. Honestly I think Holmes threw Campbell a bone with this pick and this was a Campbell guy.
