Right before half time CP3 got ejected and Kerr got a technical. That is 3 free throws. KD also got fouled and was going to shoot free throws before CP3 got T.

So logically KD would take those 3 technical free throws. KD is the teams best free throw shooter. But instead KD let Book take the 3 free throws. At this point Book was struggling a bit. What a cool thing to do by KD. Give Book 3 free throws to get into rhythm.

I don’t think any other big Star would do this. KD basically sacrificed 4 points last night (there was another technical free throw later)

      KD is shooting a better percentage the last 6 games. Which is the amount of games Book played up to that point.

      KD is a historically great free throw shooter. He is top 15 all time for his career (minimum 5 attempts a game)
