It’s all fun and games until two hours before the deadline we see breaking news: “The Philadelphia Eagles have traded their 2029 7th round pick to the Tennessee Titans for Derrick Henry and Deandre Hopkins.”

He’s a lot more valuable to the titans than he is to other teams. Because of scheme and because of history. He’s literally our best player in franchise history and that means something beyond business. Plus he’s still got some juice. I wouldn’t be surprised if they sign him to another extension after this season.

I feel like this is all posturing so on Tuesday they can say they had no plans to trade him but X team made an offer too good to refuse.
