So, got my Steamdeck today, set it up after connecting to my 5G network without issue on the first boot.

Did a factory reset because I had trouble setting-up a couple of my games. I did switch it to Offline Mode at some point but switched it back and that seemed to cause issues as well but this is all just a blur now…

Now this thing won’t connect to 5G at all. "FAILED TO CONNECT. RE-ENTER PASSWORD FOR ‘MYSSID’

Connects fine to 2.4G network with the same password.

Just did my second factory reset after changing some WiFi settings in Desktop Mode with zero results. Still won’t connect to 5G.

This no-5G thing has been happening and being asked about on Reddit for 2 years as it turns-out, why is this still happening?

Have sent another post to Valve Support but they seem very undependable .

WTF is going on with this thing? Gotta’ say I’m utterly choked.
