People are still going to come after me for saying we’re not good, but we’re not good (yet). And then people go nuts about how negatice some people here are, but it’s not negativity, it’s honest assessment and observation. We’re just not good.

You can’t seem to have nuanced discussion here or say that we’re just not quite good yet though without being called a hater, so…let’s talk about how good they are I guess? 👀

But honestly… It feels like last season Geno just took what was there, but as it went he has begun TRYING to be good. And that’s where forcing it started, leading to more incomplete passes and turnovers.

Offense:
Wide Receivers +
Tight Ends +
Offensive Line -
Quarterback -

Defense:
Corners +
Safeties =
Linebackers =
Defensive Lune -

If we are going to improve then we need to absolutely reset that interior Oline. Don’t resign any of them in FA and get some damn upgrades. It’s about time our team started to focus on improving that interior. 100% the priority. After that we need to focus on finding a replacement for Geno. I don’t think he’s been bad but he definitely below average rn and was always going to be a bridge QB. I’d prefer not trading up in the draft and hope Bo Nix falls to us but rn I wouldn’t mind Penix either (need to actually spend time looking at the upcoming QBs to see my actual preference but from my limited checking Bo Nix seems the best option at our pick). I like the way our Defense has been but we need to figure out a way to upgrade that pass rush. Maybe it’s because Nwosu is out idk, but on paper that Dline should be better at passrush than it’s been

Strongly disagree about your part on negativity. This sub is either extremely negative or their football knowledge just isn’t there. Waldron is by far the most significant factor contributing to our losses. It should not be a debate.

We are clearly not good, and we have regressed. We have no identity - is our offense the problem, is it our defense? With both, we put spurts in where we look really good. Then we have spurts where we look horrid. We come from behind to win while at the same time (oddly enough) we cannot finish a team. We are young, we have talent, we will be better, even quite good, but right now we seem rudderless, inconsistent and, well, not good.
