In light of the Giddey allegations, what is honestly the worst part about all of this is that it is a lose-lose scenario
Option 1: Giddey DID have inappropriate relations with a minor which is awful for so many reasons
Option 2: it was fake, but now everyone will still think of Giddey as a predator

I disagree with your second point. Generally it’s always better to have one less adult who messes around with kids like that (assuming this is true).
Assuming it’s fake, I feel like some people would actually feel bad for him since someone tried to ruin his career and life by making fake images and false accusations. I’m sure he’ll still hear talk about by opposing fans…but if it’s not true then it’s just talk.
Not comparing the two situations but since Kobe was never legally in any trouble with his “illegal integration” with a girl it eventually blew over even though he admits that it wasn’t consensual. So if Giddey actually did nothing wrong he should be fine.
Yeah, it would definitely be the best case scenario atp, but people would still bring it up because it happened in the age of the age of the internet. Kobe’s incident happened with relativity no backing/proof and minimal coverage at the time, but still it was brought up on Twitter and TikTok until he passed away
