Hi guys. iPhone user since 2009. They have Galaxy S23 Plus on discount for Black Friday for only 699 euros here in Italy.

Does it make sense to ditch iPhone for Galaxy? Or will I get a bad deal?

The thing that is bothering me about iPhone is the prices. If you want an iPhone with a large and smooth screen, you’re forced to buy iPhone 15 Pro Max at 1399 euros.

That is DOUBLE the price of the Galaxy.

There is iPhone 15 Plus for 999 but it has a 60 Hz screen, which I hate. And it would still be a leap from 699 to 999, not a little.

Who among you has switched from iOS to Android? Good or bad idea? What will I miss? And what will I love? Thanks!

That depends. Do you have an Apple ecosystem? if not you shouldn’t have had an iphone in the first place.

Its not just Iphone prices that are crazy high.

Iphone repairs too are the most expensive, even for 60hz screens or battery replacement.

Same story with audio. Airpods 2nd gen are a joke for their price, or even airpods pro.

Same story with Apple watches and Ipads.

This is why people avoid like the plague the apple ecosystem.

S23 or android in general obviously isnt perfect, but it sure is friendlier to your pocket and you also have many options compared to apple.

It’s because samsung phones lose their value so much faster while apples hold theirs. They start at similar prices
