So I just felt like posting this comp that I saw here. BY has played 9 games so far and yes, it’s been tough. But it’s have a look at the numbers:
BY after 9 games of rookie season:
TD/Int: 9/8 Comp: 62.1% Passer rating: 74.7 W/L: 1/8
TL after 9 games of rookie season:
TD/Int: 8/9 Comp: 58% Passer rating: 72.1 W/L: 2/7
They built the scheme around Bryce, so they are building the scheme around the players they have. Not building the scheme around the QB is crazy.
We were the only team in the NFL running a power Oline scheme. There is a reason no other teams (outside of goal line or short yardage) run a power Oline.
You have to realize there is a transition period. If you think you have a Franchise QB, then you absolutely draft him and change whatever you need to. The problem comes in, if you miss on the pick.
