    But since Novak rejected that citizenship, GB and its writers and commentators never forgave him for taking away the records that could’ve been theirs but now belong to Serbia.

    I’ve heard all this crap before. Every great nearly became Australian too if you listen to the Australian media. I’ve heard this in men’s tennis and soccer with very high profile world famous names in each sport

    I know people like being dramatic about this but it’s probably for the best that he didn’t take the offer - with the success rate of LTA physios over the last few years he probably would have retired with a wrist injury in 2011.
