This is one thing that I completely don’t understand. We run the ball out of shotgun so much and it never works. Brob is always either getting stuffed at the line of scrimmage or in the backfield, yet we keep doing it over and over. I swear there were multiple momentum killers throughout different drives where it seemed like things were going alright and then we run some sort of shotgun draw play that takes so long to develop as Demarcus Lawrence and Micah Parsons we’re already getting into the backfield. Why are we so incessant on this when it clearly doesn’t work?
It’s supposed to disguise wether it’s a pass or Run, we don’t pass from under center often, Sam isn’t that tall.
I’ll never understand the coaches on this team. A former RB is allergic to calling running plays. A former LB is allergic to prioritizing the LB unit. That former LB is also a former DC and seems completely uninvested in how that side of ball is doing.
When he lined up in shotgun on 4th and 1 with three split out wide I lost my damn mind.
