This off-season, there will be a decent amount of receivers we can try to go after. Who do you want to see, and who do you think we have a real shot at?

This. People have been disappointed with him this year but their scheme hasn’t favored him and without Zay it’s been tough going for him. If we still have Travis drawing pressure and Rice comes into his own he could be an absolute animal

That is hit or miss though. We need proven talent and a drafted WR

I edited my comment, but the 3 names everyone is asking for aren’t really schematic fits. Ridley is interesting, but he’s also going to be 29 and has already made it known he’s trying to max out his next contract. So he won’t be coming here in all likelihood.

I don’t know anything about him but Noah Brown is producing in Houston on limited snaps this year after a decent 2022 in Dallas. Both years being contract years would be concerning, though.

who do you think we have a real shot at*?*

    Age (next season) 29 Kendrick Bourne (injured; ACL), Y/G 51, CTH% 67%

    Age 29 Courtland Sutton (possible cut), Y/G 50, CTH% 73%

    Age 28 Dalton Shultz (TE), Y/G 45, CTH% 66%

    Age 32 OBJ, Y/G 42, CTH% 57%

    Age 28 Curtis Samuel, Y/G 40, CTH% 75%

    Age 29 Josh Reynolds, Y/G 40, CTH% 66%

    Age 27 K.J. Osborn, Y/G 38, CTH% 65%

    Chiefs 2023 comparables

    Kelce (TE), Y/G 71, CTH% 79%

    Rice, Y/G 42, CTH% 78%

    Watson, Y/G 37, CTH% 53%

    MVS, Y/G 25, CTH% 52%

    Gray (TE), Y/G 21, CTH% 72%

    Skyy Less, Y/G 21, CTH% 53%

    Toney! Toni! Toné!, Y/G 14, CTH% 73%

    Mecole, Y/G 10, CTH% 80%

    Ross, Y/G 5, CTH% 50%

    James, Y/G 3, CTH% 33%

emphasis for CTH% of 65% or below

NFL WRs/TEs should catch at least 2/3 of their targets, change my mind

I like Kendrick Bourne if he’s going to be healthy by week 1, Courtland Sutton, (TE) Dalton Shultz, and Curtis Samuel. They all catch over 2/3 of their targets and average more yards/game than any WR on our roster, except Samuel who is averaging ~2 yards less per game than Rice.

I wouldn’t be mad if we signed K.J. Osborn or Josh Reynolds, they have better production/efficiency than any of our WRs not named Rice.

I think OBJ is washed, but he’ll be on the market and we’ve courted him twice already.

We probably can’t afford any other veterans priced higher than these guys.

If the Commanders are open to dealing Terry McClaurin in an attempt to rebuild the team, he’s the receiver I’d want most in the offseason. Gets separation and has excellent hands, great for mid range throws and having a reliable target on 3rd down.
