I feel like its hasnt change much people are playing him more often but i dont really think it change much, its still weak in my opinion and feel like it will die in the shadows when the hype past
My issue is it… just didnt fix his real problems.
Against him, he effectively has that insta kill combo back but swapped pre-firing his alt fire with pre-throwing an AOE mine. You still get hooked from 3 maps over and insta gibbed unless your Zarya bubbles you in timem
As him you still have no teamplay utility or anyway to protect anyone not named Roadhog, and are still a sitting duck for Ana and Zen. Even Mauga and Queen have more teamplay options than Hog does.
It wasn’t much of a rework. I was hoping they’d go all out like they did with Orisa
The trap is borderline useless. They changed his primary to allow for less skilled players to get picks easier. Basically made his gun worse unless you’re bad at aiming. The only real improvement he got was his take a breather. So yeah idk it’s not great but it’s not terrible. It’s just whatever
I feel like I’m not forced to switch against Ana or bastion. Both, yes. But one of them is manageable.

Yeah, hog is a lot stronger thanks to the resource based healing.
Don’t know about other elo’s but gm1/top 500 he never dies even with an ana due to kiri and bap. Can’t imagine how it feels in the lower ranks. His trap is great at securing elims but his most valuable change is definitely his breather being on a meter that can’t be cced
