I played a ton of OW1 and got pretty good at Winston and Zarya, who both had beam weapons. I remember being told in different guides that if you were Zarya or Winston going up against another Zarya or Winston that it was more efficient to damage their shield with your melee then finish them off with your weapon as the shield took 50% less damage from Beam weapons. However now in OW2 I can’t find anything on the wiki about this. Did it make this up? or was this ever a feature.
