So after watching a 1 hr video of Ericthecarguy on Automatic Transmission… I understood alot & also didnt understand a considerable bit… How does a transmission pump work and how do valves work… and how does the hydraulic system operate/switch between gears…and how does it know when to switch and if im right… newer cars have less of hydraulics and more of electric to switch gears? I dunno im confused on what to ask specifically… I would really appreciate some simple yet comprehensive answers and also if any videos that explain about it… and an overview of all the whole process works on general… I know its alot to ask for but im trying to understand it but i dont get it and id appreciate some help.
