I spilled some water on my PC’s keyboard section, it didn’t seem like a lot and as I panicked to get a towel to dry it the screen shutdown. I shut it down entirely with the power button, tried to dry it as much as possible but obviously the water that got into the keyboard isn’t going away that easily.

Now I’ve set it upside down, with dry tissue between the screen and the keyboard to catch any water. I’ve tried opening the casing but one f-ing screw doesn’t want to budge so I can’t do it.

Am I screwed? Is it even worth bringing it to a repair shop or are they just going to say it’s not repairable? I’ve had it longer than the initial warranty assurance.

I’m a graphic design student, so I’m poor and I need a PC for work, spending hundreds on a new PC is going to screw my savings badly. Do you think someone can fix it and what parts will they have to replace?

Update : I’ve tried to turn it back on a few times and it made loud fan noises and didn’t turn on, but now I’ve done it again a couple of minutes later and it turned on. What do I do? Go on as if nothing ever happened? Let it dry powered off for a day?
