I’m interested in how UK and USA audiences might have reacted to Ted Lasso differently and I feel like the amount of fucks said might have led to a different amount of fucks given.

American here, not a problem at all. I thought it was fucking brilliant tbh
Amazingly, it never sounded forced whereas a lot of American shows sound like the swearing is forced or purposely over the top. I commend the writers for having the dialogue sound so natural.
I don’t know what it is about UK swearing but it never sounds forced and almost a part of the language.
On a side note, not related to the show but the swearing, it’s always amazed me how casual the word cunt is used over there. Growing up, thats always been the one of the most taboo/off limits words to use—right up there with the n word. Like, even typing that word out I’m already worried I’m going to get a angry DM from someone
