Its highly probable.

Ridder has better tools than broyle. But what he has to work with as far as offense and his physical skills aren’t really the problem.

Its a lot to do with the mental aspect of the game and knowing how and when to apply his skills. Aside from accuracy most his problems are mental in nature and much harder to fix.

Its also possible we could be entering a period of bad times as far as the overall shape of the football team if they decide to blow it up this year.

I say at least give until next season… cause i dont want the team to implode just cause ridder couldn’t handle the weight of running the offense and being an NFL starter.

Is some of the blame on Smith? Sure but much of the play calling is much different is anyone besides ridder is at QB. Because Smith had to the the OC…the HC and partly the eyes and mind of the fucking QB cause he has to do things from the sideline that ridder can’t do on the field. I just dont feel he has what it takes mentally to handle being a long term starter much less franchise QB. Good back up? Sure… maybe plug in as a starter and get on a run ? Sure… i just think it would need to be a much more simple basic ass offense for him to have a chance at success.

He is just way too limited in how he sees the field and the “shape” of the game. Ive criticized the hell out of him past year and a half. Nothing to do with the kid as a person. I was just dreading exactly this. The game on this type stage being too big for him. Which ive said over and over and now its on the verge of implosion =(
