Raptors had tough schedule so far (8th in the league, https://www.espn.com/nba/stats/rpi/_/sort/SOS)
Last season, we were 8-7 after 15 games
What do you like or don’t like so far?
For me, I really love:
- the vibes this season with Darko in charge
- bigger rotation -> more opportunities for player development
- Malachi Flynn, he might be a backup PG we need
- not playing starters 37+ min every game
- not having NN and FVV, I don’t think we really miss them
- Scottie and Pascal
- OG not handling the ball a lot
- Gradey Dick’s confidence, he will be really good in 1-2 years
Don’t like:
- Trent Jr this season
- Jakob’s slow start
- Precious decision making when he pretends he can be a creator. Keep it simple, play defense and rebound
- OG/Pascal/ Gary contract situation. I think Trent is gone at the deadline and we resign OG and Pascal (max contracts or close to it)
- People wanting to trade everyone and start rebuilding now (Before you use Magic as an example, just a reminder that last time they won a playoff series was in in 2011-2012 season. Are you willing to accept being bad for 10 years?)
I like how Darko has handled Malachi. Gives me confidence for Precious.
I like how Scottie’s shot has looked and how him and Pascal are starting to work more off eachother.
I don’t like the continued trend of shit effort every other game for the first 2.5 quarters.
