I really dislike Fitz.
He was a journeyman bridge QB while Miami got Tua ready. When he got replaced by Tua he cried about it to the media and made the issue bigger. He knew what his role was and still cried about it.
Compare to someone like Kurt Warner, who’d been an MVP, when he was Eli’s backup in NY and Eli was struggling he refused to go into the game as a starter because it wouldn’t be good for Eli’s development.
Fitz has been a lowkey hater since he was replaced in Miami
Fitz still mad at Grier and co for replacing him midseason. He throws some pretty subtle shade towards our team and Tua as a media guy - also the dude picked the Jets in the pregame LMAO.
Tua is a good, not elite, QB and our fanbase has rose tinted goggles when it comes to his underthrows and terrible reads.
He also admitted it on one of the shows last year. He said he hated how they brought in the rookie over him.
