In 2021 Lamar’s season ended in the first half of the 13th game vs the Brown’s on a hit outside the pocket after a pass (ankle).

In 2022 Lamar’s season ended in the first half of the 12th game vs. the Broncos on a sack in the pocket (knee).

Both injuries had a common theme of failures in pass protection. In 2021, it was a breakdown in the right side and a DB got to Lamar. In 2022 we had Josh Oliver blocking one of the Broncos best pass rushers on the right side.

Contrary to media narratives, Lamar was not injured while scrambling or running the ball. He was injuried trying to be a passer.

Sunday will be Lamar’s 12th game of the season. And we certainly have some issues with pass protection. So, are you concerned at all about another injury this game or the next?
