Wanted to start a new hobby and vinyl seemed like a good place to go. After doing research here and on YouTube I landed on the Fluance RT85. Set up was easy, even for a beginner. Purchased a few records as well and I’m already hearing little parts of songs I’ve never heard before, excited for what’s to come.     That was my first as well. I really liked it and it gave me the ability to very easily try new carts while I was learning what I enjoyed. Excellent choice.

      The floor stander isn’t on the same surface as the turntable, as mentioned in the set up guidebook. And the center channel doesn’t play when the using the turntable
