Historically, we don’t have many people that have done what Lattimore is able to do. We have some very solid players, but I’d argue none are his caliber. What do you think?

    Yeah, it’s the first time in my 20 years watching the Saints I can say he’s a shut down corner. The others were good but not shut down good.

    90% of the best defensive players in team history will be be in part of one of three different groups: Superbowl squad, dome patrol linebackers, and defense for the last 6 years.

    To answer the question though, Lattimore is very likely the best CB in Saints history though not as iconic as Tracy Porter or Jabari Greer.

    Rickey Jackson best defensive player. Period. Drew Brees best offense player. Period.

    Willie Roaf second offense. Marshon Lattimore second Defense. That’s about it.
