I remember back when Wayne Hunter was the worst thing ever. Those were the good old days now.

Nah we had plenty of years when ground and pound was actually possible. These days we need to get lucky and have the defense get the play wildly wrong to have a chance to gain any yards on the ground. That one good run Breece had today was the Dolphins all going to the center and Breece going left.

Every year since the Darnold years. So, 6 years in a row of atrocious OL play.

    2005 was pretty bad.

Adrian Jones started 16 games. Pete Kendall was forced to move to C from LG when Kevin Mawae went down. Jonathan Goodwin replaced him. Brandon Moore did start all 16 games at RG. Jason Fabani only managed 7 starts and we signed Scott Gragg to finish the season.

The result was a firm commitment to get better on the offensive line, so they traded Abraham to Atlanta for a late 1st, took Brick at 4 and Mangold at 29, and signed Anthony Clement to play RT.

Injuries suck, but not having quality depth is worse. They absolutely need to replenish this part of the roster this season.
