LaVine on this team could be a really big improvement. The gravity of Pascal in the post with LaVine out on the 3 point line.
The ability to run actual shooters lineups around Scottie and Pascal would be huge too.
It’s not some rental or short term move either. It’s a guy who is 28 and an elite shooter under team control. That means we’re a tax team though so in that case it’s time to get ready to put together a true competing team as early as next year.
If Gary, Boucher, Thad, a 1st and a 2nd gets it done then sign me up.

We’re .500 after having a pretty tough schedule and a new head coach with new systems. I’d say we’re at worst in the mediocre category right now.
Adding an elite shooter to the backcourt who’s shown an ability to score 24+ the last 4 seasons in a row would put us very solidly as a good team. Still not in the elite category of the Celtics, 76ers and Bucks, but solidly in that next tier of teams in the East.
I want Lavine so we can keep our tradition of having great dunkers on the team.
We have needed a guy like lavine for eternity, he would unlock a lot with this team if he’s locked in. If there’s no market for him and we can get him for cheap go for it, at worst we can rehab him and maybe get some plus value on trading him? I dunno I’m an idiot.
Take even more touches away from Scottie. Rebuild this team already, the Bulls weren’t even trying to win that game man, they were just as bad as the Pistons.
