Hi there. Not looking for tech support. It’s not broken, so my question is more of a “has anyone gotten this to work?” I recently installed Intel Unison, and I’m wondering if anyone’s been able to get it working wired? I realize the official information I’ve been able to uncover says Bluetooth is required, and don’t get me wrong, I’m very happy with it… but curious if it could be even better!
Why am I asking? I’d love to be able to connected via wire so not only the call quality would be better, since my headset would have a wired connection between it and my phone, and therefore avoiding interference. But, I’m thinking if that portion would work, I’d research ways of using making calls on my iPhone using wired internet (shared from my PC or dongle/docking station) instead of WIFI.
Worst case, maybe I’ll either dig into how I could use a dongle or docking station I already own and use ethernet regardless of the Intel Unison situation.
I just thought this would be neat to get working wired just to maximize call quality, but perhaps file transfers and other features of Intel Unison via wired headset and internet. I can see a ton of iPhone users jumping on this, and it might be useful to a great many folks to get this working wired.
Thanks a ton for reading.
Has no one tried getting this to worked via wire?
