Hello, what are some of the items you cannot live without as well as those that are essential to having a pleasant digital nomad experience.

Thank you :)

For Latin America I would say a Grayl water filter bottle is a must-have. Unfortunately I lost mine on the way home after my first trip with it, but I immediately bought another one. It’s $100, but definitely worth it when tap water isn’t safe. Also great for long walks during the day that may have a waterfall/stream.

    Ok besides the obvious,

Lighter and rolling papers of course

    Tongue Scraper

Good underwear, lightweight/quality material clothing (I have some Vuori stuff, looking to get more and just only carry that cause it doesn’t really get nasty as fast as regular cotton, washes, dries, folds up easier too)

Little packet of tissues, or even just a couple napkins

    WATER BOTTLE OMG

Pen and paper, even just a little piece of scrap paper I always keep at least on Sharpie on deck too

Sunglasses - consistently one of the absolute most helpful things ever while out and about.

My tech pouch, any cord I have lives in one place

Tiny cross body bag, can clear out all pockets on my person if needed and just provides an immediately accessible storage

Headphones, AirPods are badass and some backup wired buds too

    Must haves…

    • wifi
    • power cord adapter
    • credit card that allows you to take out cash.

Anything else is either nice to have or completely unnecessary.

Phone, camera, Laptop, laptop case/cover, good quality backpack, chargers & adapters for each place you are going (or a universal adapter), noise cancelling headphones, shower shoes, padlock.

I also prefer to have the following, but wouldn’t say they’re a must: your own pillow case, ear plugs (if you are staying in hostels or noisy cities), poncho, travel journal (fun to write about the places you go or have new friends sign it along the way!)
