Watching the end of OKC 76ers game. Mark Daigneault knows what he’s doing. my oh my! What a wonderful ending. Of course if you don’t like free throws you might find it boring. But damn that was a masterclass. Too bad Joe jumped into Tyrey’s…
Call me copium but I think it isn’t too bad to miss the knockout round of IST. I’d rather our players play less games on these shit IST courts. I was nervous about injuries watching the last two IST games. And the makeup games would be easier opponents.
What’s the opposite of copium?
I only care about this IST because we’re at risk of missing out.
2 days ago I thought it was dumb. Now I’m hoping Charlotte pulls off an upset against NY so we’ve got a chance of getting back in.
We can still get in if we blow out Chicago and BKN wins against the raptors tho
Sounds like copium, rather watch more competitive games than less. If they get hurt they get hurt, it’s basketball.
We need a serviceable third big. KP and Al will miss games. Kornet has flashes of good performance but he’s just not good enough to be the backup. His rim protection is basically nonexistent in most cases. With Al being old, in the games without KP we must have someone who can protect the rim.
To be honest, Al played really bad yesterday to the point I feel Kornet was more serviceable than Al. It doesn’t help that Jayson only really started to get offensively in the late 3rd. Thats why both of them were -21 and -26 with Jaylen being a positive.
I guess I half agree there.
I thought this game showed why we need another big even if Kornet is good enough.
He played this game really well and we were still missing a big physical presence. In a game where Horford struggled and Porzingis got hurt, Kornet stepped up and filled in for both really well. That’s his strong suit, he’s a technical big who can cover for our two technical bigs.
We just don’t have any bruisers to fall back on in the occasional game where we need them.
It was telling that Mazzula was experimenting with Oshae Brissett and Scal was wondering about Lamar Stevens. We don’t have a go-to guy for physicality. Bringing physicality is one of the more important bench roles a team can have.
I hope we don’t draw the Magic in the first round lol. Let them scare the Bucks or Heat instead 😅
