What the title says, my deck won’t connect to an external monitor or tv even when docked, I’m using some random 3rd party dock, but it worked just fine last week, and now the deck just refuses to display on anything except the built in screen, the screen sometimes goes black but the tv doesn’t detect signal from gaming mode and dtop mode

Im not at all a tech savvy person, but I just want this thing to work for one of those portable travel monitors I’m going to get

    Try safe resolution mode for external in the developer settings.

    I’ve had that problem a few times with both the official steam deck dock & the 3rd party 1 less so with the 3rd party 1 for better or worse. I’m not very tech savvy myself but the problem solved itself for me by simply either restarting the deck & unplugging & plugging back in the deck to the dock.

      That’s what I’ve tried, restarting, unplugging and plugging back in, different HDMI cables, but nothing shows no matter what I try and nothing online or in steam discussion threads is helping out
