It was easier for them to freefall tho, Dame was having one of his best seasons ever and that was kind of it. They started getting blown out and lost 15 of their last 17 games, and Dame missed 11 games in that stretch
Lot more win-now talent on the roster than the Blazers who haven’t really show any flashes. Plus other teams were lowballing and Scottie didn’t look anywhere near the player he’s been this season. Made sense to stay put
