Because there’s world’s of difference between shooting a free throw and making a shot under duress with a defender in front of you.

It’s the easiest shot in the game, you’re not moving, it’s from the same spot always, you can take your time and setup.

They really shouldn’t be struggling that much with them. It’s definitely a mental / confidence issue

  • We’ll see.

Our cap situation is very intentional, primed to enter into tax for the right move, we have extremely valuable trade assets thus us being bandied about in pretty much every star trade scenario…and why wouldn’t we start developing in a development year?

I’m not even sure what team you’re talking about, nothing there really aligns w reality.

  • Ya I’ve had it, the question was whether that’s his injury, I wasn’t sure.

He shouldn’t be playing if it’s really flared up. Games provide no benefit to physical therapy, so I’m imagining if he’s decided to go then the pain is minimal and tolerable.

My original comment is regarding free throws though, and as I’ve stated in this thread, plantar fasciitis plays little to no part in affecting free throw mechanics. Feet have almost no movement, you don’t even raise your heel on the shot, it’s mostly a knee/quad mov’t in the legs w minor calf trigger for stability.

Any pain he’d be having in a free throw motion could be mitigated by actually focusing on the task at hand i.e. the mechanics of shooting his FTs.

You can give him a pass if you like but I don’t. the FT epidemic is affecting the whole team and it’s interesting to wonder why theyre awful at such a basic basketball skill.
