Jesus, my Laptop and my Phone get around 60-70MB/s download speeds.
My Router / AP reports 99% signal strength. SD reports 50-80% Signal strength, varies by the second, 5GHZ of course.
I hit 40MB/s earlier, which was cool, however most games I average 20-25MB/s, which is really slow from what I’m used too. I even tried the IPV6 trick someone posted, nothing. It is the slowest WiFi device in my house, easily.
I can’t imagine the original. Using a UDMSE + Unifi APs.
I have a 6E WiFi network and I’m getting 75MB/s downloads from Steam on my OLED. My LCD got closer to 40-50MB/s. Seems right to me.
Hmm. Not sure what to tell you. I’m using a Unifi UAP-nanoHD (Wifi 5) and getting ~50-60MB/s on a Steam Deck LCD. N.B. This is on an external download.
Don’t compare to a LAN transfer from one of your other PCs. For me at least Steam LAN transfers top out at 30MB/s despite having a gigabit LAN network. I actually disabled client to client transfers because they are significantly slower than downloading from the internet (gigabit internet).
I’ve been writing this alot on here but the signal strength is terrible compared to other items, such as my tablet and phone. Like yours the signal strength fluctuates between 50 odd and 100% even when I’m literally sitting on the router.
