Yeah, the special features, lossless audio and higher quality video (let alone you ACTUALLY OWN the physical disc movie) is why I still prefer physical.
Dumb question if we are buying movies on Apple TV, is it being stored locally or cloud? I got 32GB 4K gen 2. Thinking about getting the remastered Cinderella.
It gets stored on the cloud so you can download as many and you want and it won’t affect your storage. If you go on a trip you can download movies you bought to your iPad, MacBook etc so you can watch without streaming.
Yeah I’ve started buying my movies on iTunes, I’ve just bought a Hisense L9H projector with a 100” screen. I’m pretty addicted to buying movies at the moment…
I’m hovering around 400 movies right now. I’ve really enjoyed collecting them the past year or so. My movies have led to some really memorable moments for me the past few years.
I’ve recently started to build a collection again, I used to have a large physical collection in the early 2000s but then cleared it all out in my minimalist phase.
I pretty much only buy 4K movies I like that are on offer on Apple TV app and relevant bundles, I’ve accrued about 100 movies in 6 months.
