I’ve seen videos of people plugging in USB flash drives while on desktop mode, and a window is supposed to pop up at the bottom right. Never happens for me, I’ve tried 3 different USB drives that all work fine on my Windows PC. I checked the disks/drives panel and nothing is showing up there either. I’m using the OLED model I just received. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

If the 3.5.7 update didn’t fix this issue for you, I have seen some people report that going to the preview build and back to stable might help. Otherwise you might also get it to work by going into your bios and selecting Advanced>USB Configuration and changing the USB Dual Role Device setting from DRD to XHCI.

If you’re unfamiliar with booting into the bios, you can do this by powering off your deck, then hold the Volume+ button while turning it on. You can release the Volume+ button after you hear the beep.

I have the same issue. The only way I’m able to get the Deck to recognize my usb c flash drive was by powering it off and powering it back on with the flash drive plugged in. Only then will it show up in desktop view and I can mount it/open. However the moment I pull it out I can never get the deck to find it again until I do another power off/on cycle while it’s plugged in.
