Anyone else feel like we get too cute sometimes ? I feel like in the last 2 games we’ll be 3rd and short and we won’t run it, now i get that’s our tendency but it’s also our strength!

Yes. There were quite a few questionable play calls throughout the game. Not to mention the 4th down.

We’ve proven we have the right talent to go head to head with any defense. So why are we doing very obscure shit on the field while ARSB, Gibbs, and Jamo sit on the sideline? We would never see Miami do that same crap.
I feel like we’ve always tried to get too cute, you guys don’t remember year 1 and even some games in year 2, on 4&1 and we’d line up in an empty spread and Goff would end up throwing the ball away…?

When our offense clicks we are completely unpredictable based on formation. The last few weeks though , we have not mixed in runs out of traditional pass and vice versa with any regularity and we’ve suffered for it. When were unpredictable,we dictate. When we dictate, we win.
How much do you think has to do with us not having the full o line?
For sure. The best we looked in the last two games were the end of game 2 minute drills when there’s no time to be cute. I wanna see more hurry up offense!

I think we’re pretty predictable sometimes. If it’s 3rd down in the “almost red zone,” they almost always call a run or quick pass to set up a 4th down. It’s too easy to know they’re playing for 2 downs in those situations.

Yes. Its obvious that the offensive scheme is way too slick. Needless. Not just on 3rd downs.
