I’ve been thinking about moving to PC for a while now, selling both my Switch + Series X to make up some of the cost. I’m at the point where I just want a single platform to do the majority, If not all what I’m looking for.

The PC will be very capable (4070Ti + 14600K) + a Steam Deck OLED to complement it. I’ve thoroughly researched everything and I’m definitely set on this setup.

What sacrifices do I actually make by dropping my SX and Switch? And is this a good time to be transitioning to PC? Any advice would be appreciated

I will also be keeping my PS5 for exclusives. And getting rid of all my old consoles.

I prefer console gaming rather than PC as I don’t enjoy playing games with mouse and keyboard and mainly for the all round less hassle and convenience, excellent big budget aaa exclusives, no hackers ruining games, option of buying physical games, split screen/local co-op, exclusivity deals/content and you will find that the big developers along with Japanese games will tend to prioritize console over PC.
