Many of us saw that damned letter instead of 7.35 - and it didn’t exactly feel so good - with most people having hoped for some sweeping changes coming after TI having pretty much solidified the meta.

That said - I do believe that there IS more to the patch than initially meets the eye. Combing through the patch notes, looking at the data that’s become available since the patch itself dropped - as well as getting a personal feel for the pub environment, I wanted to create a video that would cover the potential of an old (and dreaded by many) playstyle that could be returning!

PUSH META

Between Vladimirs being buffed, subsequently buffing Helm of the Overlord - Plus a lot of pushing-oriented heroes (Chen, Lycan, Visage, Lone, etc.) being really strong right now - I do believe that the current pub meta could slowly, but surely, tip into becoming quite a bit more push oriented.

The video briefly goes over my finds on the subject - where the numbers are coming from, and hopefully(?) inspire other players into trying out and picking up more push-oriented characters.

We might be stuck with 7.34e for quite a while yet - so it’s all the more interesting if the playerbase can make the patch look significantly distinct from our former d patch.

I am preemptively banning lycan every game now. If there is a slight chance, some dude will try and cheese spam mmr with this hero.
