What are your thoughts on Randle & Grimes for DeRozan and PWill? We’d probably throw in a pick or two.

We can slide RJ to the 2, and start PWill and DeRozan. DeRozan is essentially the same player on offense as Randle (ton of iso and midrange), just a lot more efficient. PWill is off to a slow start this season, but showed lots of flashes of potential. I think Grimes has shown he’s pretty expendable with the way DiVo’s been playing. What are your thoughts? Too big of a shakeup in the middle of the season?

    No bad defensive guards

    Team really shouldn’t make any trades, especially for bad defensive guards. Do you want to be worse version of the dame/cj blazers?

      Who are the bad defensive guards other than Brunson, who has been solid? This would push RJ to the 2 who’s been a great defender this year

        You can’t really win with more than one playing big minutes

        Brunson tries his best with charges but he still isn’t good at D. It hai fault though. He tries very hard

    I’m not a fan of Randle for a couple reasons and I would angrily hang up the phone if I’m Leon Rose and the Bulls called me with this offer. Trading Randle just to trade him makes no sense, to be honest I’d rather pick up another scorer to drop Randle down in the pecking order, as I think thats best for the team.

    Pat Will is someone else’s reclaimation project. DeRozan can’t shoot 3s.

    Nothing about this makes sense. Only player Knicks would want from that team is Caruso, but we’re already set for smallish guard/wings

    Haven’t checked the stats, but I heard Pat Will hasn’t even attempted a free throw yet this season which is wild.

    How would this trade help the team? How is the ceiling with DeRozan and PWill any higher? Why change RJ’s position when he’s off to his best season? This sounds like a trade just for trades sake. No thank you.
