When defenders do well going forward people tend to assume that they are good footballers even if they are poor defenders. He is alright. If he is this injury prone at such a young age then his future doesn’t look too bright tbh. Gets too many cards. I think he thinks he is Ramos.

Whenever he starts he’s most of the time the best player on the pitch. Problem is that he’s half the time suspended or injured.

He’s one of the best players I’ve ever seen in person , he’s untouchable. Before his injuries last year he was a solid pick for the best right back in the world. Four Four Two also had him at #1.

I have a few friends who are Wigan supporters, when James was 18, he won their player of the season, the Wigan supporters I knew claimed he was one of if not the best okayed they had ever seen play for Wigan, and that’s at 18.

When he’s fit and not rusty, I honestly believe he’s the best RB in the world.
