Long time stalker, first post… But watching that AMAZING comeback last night REALLY made me miss the pure, unabashed homer HYPE that we got from BD! I mean sure Chris fisher isn’t totally emotionless (mostly emotionless), but BD would have had me jumping out of my seat! After that Chet 3, I think BD would have doused himself in gasoline and ran onto the court!

Anybody else just miss that feeling like you were watching the game with an Uncle that’s half drunk but REALLY EXCITED to be watching the game with you type of commentator?

    Hell mf yeah. I can just imagine how excited he would be for this young team. He sounded like a Thunder super fan everytime something awesome happened. Some Eric Collins -esque.

    I actually like Fischer, but yeah there’s some moments where the job requires the broadcast crew to be at maximum hype levels like last night or the Isaiah Joe game last year, and he just never gets there in my opinion

    I think Fischer is fine, he’s gotten less robotic and has much better synergy with Cage than he initially had (sometimes it got clumsy/awkward in the past lol). BD was fun, especially in tandem with Cage, but he threw it all away by making a dumb mistake on air.

    Fischer is Cage is bland. Tbh, sometimes I prefer the commentators from the opposing teams.
